Community Engagement

GreenSTEM Education continues to make significant contributions to the advancement of STEM education both in Tasmania and nationally. Some of our key community engagement activities include:

In addition to our community event involvement, GreenSTEM Education is proud to support The Smith Family with content creation for their interactive STEM education initiatives. This includes the development of engaging and accessible resources, as well as interactive units designed to inspire and equip students with essential STEM skills.

We offer coaching, mentoring, consulting, content creation and professional development services to educators, schools, and community groups. This includes providing support on best practices, curriculum planning, and resources in STEM education. Some examples include:

  • Coaching, Mentoring, and Consultation on STEM education best practices, curriculum design, and project development
  • Webinar Presentations for organizations like Tasmanian Society for Information Technology in Education (TASITE), Schools Plus & Salesforce, Teachers Guild of NSW, Code Club Australia, and Coolest Projects Technology Showcase
  • FIRST Lego League Professional Learning Workshops
